As important as the device itself is, it alone does not make a successful appliance program.  The ISV that undertakes to deliver its product(s) as appliances must address a range of issues from logistics and fulfillment, through support and warranty, concluding with end-of-life issues such as technology refreshment and recycling.  For a software company, these can be daunting tasks.  That’s why SteelCloud takes a partnership approach, guiding our clients through these issues and assuming much of the responsibility on their behalf.  Our clients come to think of us as an extension of their company, as their “virtual hardware division”.
